Although Elliot Krasnow is best known as an Internet innovator and entrepreneur, his first career out of college was as a TV commercial producer and film-maker.  In the late 1960's and early 1970's, one of the best known New York production houses was a company called Filmex, Inc.  It was here that Mr. Krasnow made his bones in the communications and advertising business, producing for some of Madison Avenue's best known film directors, many of whom went on to become famous film-makers in Hollywood.

Having the heart of a creative entrepreneur, it was not long before he incorporated and capitalized his first personally-owned business venture, Palomino Productions, Inc., in Greenwich Village, New York.  This two story skylit townhouse off Washington Square, became a mecca for the bi-coastal film and media crowd in the 1970's.  During this time, Mr. Krasnow moved to Los Angeles to work on several projects and grow his network.

He hooked up with Joe Solomon of Fanfare Film Corporation, then a public company, and sat on their Board of Directors.  For those who may remember, Fanfare was similar to the Roger Corman and Sam Arkoff studios.  His first assignment was working with Paul Lewis (Easy Rider), where he Associate Produced This Is A Hijack!, and continued to work on other in-house film development and production projects.

Additionally, in 1972, Mr. Krasnow traveled to Almeira, Spain, to help coordinate the spaghetti western, Blindman, starring Ringo Starr, for ABKCO Films, owned by Beatles manager Allen Klein.  In 1974, Palomino was involved with Walt Disney Productions in its role negotiating some of the casting agreements for the movie, Island At The Top Of The World, filmed in California.

Ultimately, Mr. Krasnow came to the conclusion that the "L.A. scene" did not suit his lifestyle, and, in 1979, moved to Miami, Florida.  He subsequently launched many other sales and marketing business ventures, most recently and most notably as an Internet/website marketeer and SEO expert.  During the late 1980's and early 1990's, Mr. Krasnow was a regular expert guest on FNN-TV (now CNBC) appearing daily in pre-taped segments with host Mario Machado as they discussed the gold market.

However, during 1995, just months prior to his discovery and enlightenment of the commercial Internet, Mr. Krasnow used his past knowledge and contacts in Associate producing a low-budget, action karate movie in Miami in the genre of Mortal Combat. He set up a global distribution agreement with Curb Entertainment in Burbank, CA., resulting in a substantial upfront advance payment for the production company.

In 2000, with the help of a major advertising agency, Mr. Krasnow co-wrote and produced a 30 minute infomercial entitled "The Internet Revolution", which was seen on local and cable television networks nationally.  Additionally, he was involved in the creation, casting and production of several :30 and :60 second TV commercials for his company at that time, Netspace.
